Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, seeks a Machinist to set up, operate, and program conventional and CNC machines to produce precision components in Santa Isabel, PR. The role requires advanced machining knowledge, GD&T interpretation, and problem solving, with relocation not offered.

You will work onsite in PR, collaborating with engineering teams to optimize processes, ensure quality, and maintain equipment in a safety-focused environment. English/Spanish communication is essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent with related tech education.
• Experience communicating in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required for access under this program/contract.
• Experience developing fixtures, tooling, and machining processes.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and conventional machining equipment.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Perform high-precision machining and optimize CNC programs.
• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools, including CMM.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and equipment issues.
• Support process improvements and assist engineering teams.
• Maintain equipment, document work, and follow safety and quality standards.
