Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Manufacturing Team Member V to set up, operate, monitor, and adjust multi-axis CNC milling/grinding/lathe and related semi-automated equipment. You will troubleshoot, diagnose breakdowns, and replace tooling as needed, while ensuring quality parts and productivity targets are met.

You will read orders and blueprints, perform offsets, document downtime, and maintain 6S standards. Five years' related experience and basic English required; CN C certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of related experience required.
• CNC certification or metalworking/tooling certification preferred.
• Knowledge in operating CNC, milling, grinding, or furnace machines preferred.
• Must read/write/speak basic English.
• Ability to learn, problem-solve, and follow work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor, and adjust multi-axis CNC milling/grinding/lathe and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot machine issues, diagnose breakdowns, and replace tools as needed.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges; record downtime and shift logs.
• Read work orders/blueprints to ensure specs and BOM accuracy.
• Perform machine offsets and adjustments to ensure quality and productivity.
• Perform general machine maintenance and basic housekeeping per 6S.
• Cross-train across machines and report outcomes and improvements.
