Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Manufacturing Team Member IV to operate high‑tech CNC equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, and perform advanced set‑ups. You will verify tool settings, run first parts, inspect output, and help maintain quality standards on a fast‑paced production floor in Mansfield, TX.

The role requires three years' metalworking experience, CNC certification, and the ability to read drawings, use precision measuring tools, and work safely with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and three years experience or equivalent.
• Metalworking or metal removal experience and CNC certification preferred.
• Read, write, speak and understand basic English; basic math skills.
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, gauges; able to read part drawings/blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Work safely following OSHA rules, use PPE and report hazards.
• Perform advanced set-ups, install tools, verify control settings, run first piece.
• Load/test programs, adjust feeds, speeds, axes to match specs.
• Monitor operations, inspect parts, and adjust to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot using guides and experience; repair, disassemble and replace components.
• Replace, reset and sharpen tools; perform general machine maintenance and cleaning.
• Document downtime, production counts, and maintain 6S standards.
• Cross-train on multiple machines; participate in lean manufacturing activities.
