Job summary

Rheem in Montgomery, Alabama is seeking a Machine Operator IV to operate and optimize multi-stage automated systems and CNC equipment in the Water Heating division. You will monitor equipment performance, analyze data, and drive uptime improvements while following 5S and Rheem Production System guidelines.

The role requires performing TPM routines, using MES/ERP for production reporting and data collection, and collaborating with maintenance and engineering to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED, secondary diploma, etc.).
• 1+ years experience in manufacturing environment/warehouse working on automated systems.
• Basic mechanical and digital experience required.
• Experience with automation in manufacturing.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints/sketches.

Responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and optimize multi-stage automated systems and CNC equipment for maximum line efficiency.
• Analyze equipment data to improve uptime, reduce cycle times, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Perform and document TPM routines and support maintenance tasks.
• Utilize MES and ERP systems to track parts, production, and data (preferred).
• Collaborate with maintenance and engineering to address performance issues.
• Identify and implement process improvements for stability and flow.
• Maintain an organized workspace using 5S and Rheem Production System (RPS) principles.
• Own technical performance and flow stability of the assigned area.
• Observe all safety requirements.
