Rheem Manufacturing Company in Montgomery, AL, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to supervise hourly maintenance staff, oversee contractors, and ensure safe, efficient operation of plant equipment and buildings. This onsite role requires strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills and the ability to train and develop maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field with 5 years' experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent in manufacturing may be considered.
• Strong knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and buildings.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance procedures and planning.
• Ability to lead others with troubleshooting results in reduced downtime.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team setting.
• Ability to develop and train employees and have good organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and recommend and implement improvements.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with other functional areas of the company.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Direct supervision of hourly Maintenance Department Employees including Electricians, Maintenance Mechanics, Oilier, Working Leaders and Dispatcher.
• Directs electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and buildings.
• Supervises maintenance staff by determining workloads and schedules; develops, interprets and implements policies and procedures; evaluates staff and makes hiring and termination recommendations; ensures staff training in complex maintenance activities.
