Job summary

Global Finishing Solutions LLC is seeking a Machine Operator II for 2nd shift in Osseo, Wisconsin. You will program, set up, and operate CNC machines including press brakes, plasma cutters, and turret machines, reading blueprints and ensuring parts meet exacting quality standards.

You will contribute to continuous improvement, perform preventive maintenance, and mentor less experienced operators. This hands-on role rewards precision, teamwork, and a steady commitment to safety and production

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required — additional technical training is a plus.
• 4+ years of hands‑on manufacturing experience with a strong foundation in CNC operations.
• Proven experience programming and running three or more CNC machines beyond the Machine Operator I level.
• A solid track record of performing preventive maintenance and keeping equipment running at peak performance.
• The ability to mentor and train Machine Operator I team members, sharing knowledge and helping others grow.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and run CNC machines (press brake, plasma, turret), dialing in precise calibrations to produce high-quality parts.
• Confidently operate a wide range of shop tools—torches, beam punches, band saws, grinders, drills, angle gauges, bridge cranes, and drill presses—while keeping safety first.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plan layouts, and build components that meet exact specifications.
• Apply your technical expertise to calculate bend allowances and adjust for material thickness with accuracy.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help implement smarter, more efficient shop processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep machines running reliably and minimize downtime.
