Job summary
Global Finishing Solutions is a leading manufacturer of finishing systems, seeking a Machine Operator II in Osseo, WI. You will program, set up, and operate CNC machines including press brakes, plasma cutters, and turret machines, reading blueprints and planning layouts to meet exacting quality standards.
You will contribute to continuous improvement, perform preventive maintenance, and may mentor Machine Operator I teammates.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience with CNC operations.
- Experience programming and running three+ CNC machines beyond Operator I.
- Proven preventive maintenance to keep equipment running at peak performance.
- Ability to mentor Machine Operator I teammates.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and run CNC machines with precise calibrations.
- Operate a wide range of shop tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plan layouts, and build components to spec.
- Calculate bend allowances and adjust for material thickness.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement smarter processes.
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend machine life.
