Job summary

Global Finishing Solutions in Osseo, Wisconsin is seeking a Machine Operator II to program, set up, and operate CNC machines including press brakes, plasma cutters, and turret machines. You will read blueprints, plan layouts, and ensure parts meet exact specifications while maintaining safety and efficiency.

You’ll also mentor Machine Operator I teammates, contribute to continuous improvement, and perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training is a plus.
• 4+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience with CNC operations.
• Experience programming and running three or more CNC machines beyond Operator I.
• Ability to mentor Machine Operator I teammates and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and run CNC machines (press brake, plasma, turret), calibrating for high-quality parts.
• Read blueprints, plan layouts, and build components to exact specifications.
• Apply technical expertise to calculate bend allowances and adjust for material thickness.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement efficient shop processes.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep machines running reliably and minimize downtime.
• Mentor and train Machine Operator I team members.
