Job summary

TARUS, a machine tool builder and global CNC solutions provider, is seeking an experienced CNC Field Service Engineer in the United States. You will diagnose, repair, commission, and perform preventive maintenance on CNC machines at customer sites, working independently and leading service visits.

Applicants should have at least three years of hands-on experience with CNC controls (Siemens, SINUMERIK, Heidenhain, Fanuc) and strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field service experience with CNC machines.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing CNC control systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Independently diagnose and resolve CNC machine issues at customer sites.
• Lead on-site service visits with minimal supervision.
• Perform commissioning, calibration, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Document service activities and findings in detailed reports.
