Job summary
engineeringjobs.net, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to develop and optimize CNC programs, determine machining methods, and prepare documentation and estimates for production launches.
The role supports first article prove-outs, troubleshoots shop-floor issues, and improves quality, productivity, and cost in collaboration with machining and production teams. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with at least five years in manufacturing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent manufacturing experience.
- Minimum of five years in manufacturing engineering, CNC programming, or process engineering.
- Strong Mastercam programming experience; familiarity with CNC machines; GD&T and blueprint reading knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs and determine machining methods.
- Prepare manufacturing documentation and estimates for production.
- Support production launches and first article prove-outs.
- Troubleshoot shop-floor issues and improve quality, productivity, and cost.
- Collaborate with machining and production teams to implement improvements.
