Job summary

The Senior Nursing Assistant (NA) at Good Samaritan provides resident-centered care in Fort Collins, under the supervision of an RN. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and support the nursing team to maintain quality care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care.
• Maintains continuing education credits (12 hours annually).
• May require Restorative Nursing training within 6 months.
• May be classified as Sanford Category II Driver depending on state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of an RN.
• Assist with daily living activities and vital signs per care plan.
• Document resident interactions and report changes to the charge nurse.
• Support restorative nursing programs and participate in wellness activities as needed.
