Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Senior Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our long-term care team. You will provide resident-centered care under the supervision of an RN, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment.

You will participate in vital signs, mobility support, and collaborative care with nursing staff. The role includes 12-hour night shifts, full-time schedule, and opportunities for ongoing education and growth.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Two years' clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• May be required to complete Restorative Nursing training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provides resident-centered nursing care under the supervision of an RN.
• Assists with daily living activities, vital signs, nutrition, and hydration.
• Assists with transferring, mobility, range of motion, and activity participation.
• Documents resident interactions and communicates changes to the charge nurse.
• Supports infection prevention policies and PPE use.

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred

Two years clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Restorative Nursing training within 6 months
