Job summary
Tundra Technical Solutions in Texas is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technician with 2+ years of field or lab experience to support projects on-site. You will perform soils, concrete, asphalt, and aggregate testing, document results, communicate with project personnel, and manage testing schedules with limited supervision, while adhering to ASTM, ACI, TxDOT standards.

- 2+ years of CMT experience in field and/or lab.
- Experience testing soils, concrete, asphalt, aggregates.
- Ability to complete field reports and testing documentation.
- Strong verbal and written communication with project personnel.
- Must be able to lift 10–60 lbs and work outdoors.
Responsibilities
- Perform field and laboratory testing of soils, concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and other materials.
- Test according to ASTM, ACI, TxDOT, and project standards.
- Document field observations and test results daily.
- Communicate results and potential non-compliance to project personnel.
- Coordinate testing with contractors and engineers.
- Maintain and transport testing equipment and keep work areas clean.
