Job summary

Atlas is seeking a CMT Technician to support critical transportation infrastructure projects across Texas. You will perform field and laboratory testing of construction materials, inspect work for compliance, and document results in digital reporting systems.

Required certifications: TxDOT Level 1A, TxDOT Level 1B, and ACI Field Testing Technician Grade I. Minimum 2 years of experience, valid Texas driver’s license, ability to travel to project sites, and the ability to work outdoors in varying

• Inspect roadway and site work for compliance.
• Document testing results using digital reporting systems.
• Review plans and testing requirements to ensure accurate execution.
• Communicate results clearly with project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing on construction materials in line with TxDOT, ASTM, and AASHTO standards
• Inspect roadway, bridge, and site development work to ensure compliance with project requirements
• Document testing and inspection results using digital reporting systems
• Review plans, specifications, and testing requirements to support accurate execution
• Communicate results, observations, and issues clearly with project teams and clients
• Maintain equipment, calibration records, and follow all safety practices on-site
• Assist with project scheduling and coordination of field personnel
