DIHO Consulting USA in Odessa, TX seeks a Senior Construction Materials Testing Technician with 3+ years in construction or CMT. Training provided, potential certification opportunities, and a path to advanced responsibilities.

The role involves field testing soils, concrete, asphalt, and pile monitoring to ensure project specs. Candidates with ACI, NICET, or TxDOT certifications are preferred and a TWIC card is desirable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Construction or Construction Materials Testing.
• Must have dependable transportation; a truck is preferable.
• Must pass a DISA drug screen.
• Background check required.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and equipment.
• Capable of maintaining an "On Call" type schedule and willing to work obscure hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests including concrete testing such as slump, air content, temperature, unit weight, and cylinder casting.
• Conduct soil compaction testing using sand cone or nuclear density gauge.
• Carry out Proctor, Atterberg limits, sieve analysis, and other soil tests.
• Perform asphalt density testing and core sampling.
• Monitor piles during installation documenting capacity and blow counts.
• Produce timely and detailed reports.
• Operate vehicle safely and follow company safety procedures.
• Communicate with dispatch and onsite clients daily and relay information to management.
