Job summary

ECS Limited is hiring a Senior Project Manager for our Wilmington field services team. You will lead construction materials testing projects, coordinate with clients and project teams, and drive on-time delivery from proposal through final invoicing.

As a senior leader, you will mentor junior PMs, manage budgets and change orders, and actively market services to grow existing and new client relationships. A PE/PG license and 5+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Eng, Construction Eng & Mgmt, Materials Science Eng, Arch Eng, or Geology (Construction Management degrees may not be considered).
• Minimum 5 full years of relevant experience.
• Professional licensure: PE or PG.
• Valid driver's license and insurance if driving for ECS.
• Strong marketing skills to establish and maintain client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills (speaking, reading, writing).
• Sound understanding of heavy construction safety, practices, procedures.
• Sound knowledge of CMT principles, ASTM lab standards.
• Strong leadership and decision-making for working with clients, peers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Support management of CMT projects, including daily report review and team training.
• Manage project budgets, prepare invoices, pay applications, and assist collections.
• Prepare and review proposals and change orders; attend client meetings and follow up on reports.
• Mentor junior project managers and assist staffing decisions with managers and recruiters.
• Market ECS services and maintain client relationships.
