Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, ID seeks a Senior CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) Process Engineer to start up, develop and optimize CMP processes, driving yield improvements and cost reductions. You will work with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and push for process excellence in DRAM fabrication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years as Process Owner within CMP
• BS or Masters in Engineering; equivalent military experience or AAS with 5+ years
• Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training
• Willingness to learn Agentic AI to improve workflow

Responsibilities

• Start up, develop, and optimize CMP processes to improve yield
• Collaborate with equipment and integrations engineers to resolve issues
• Drive yield, defectivity, production and cost improvements via SPC
• Use project management to meet milestones
