Job summary

Intel is seeking a Staff Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) Engineer to drive CMP development from concept through high-volume manufacturing for advanced logic nodes in MDCE, Hillsboro, OR.

You will lead cross-node standardization, collaborate with Yield, Factory, and Equipment teams, and mentor junior engineers while solving CMP-related yield challenges with data-driven methods. This hybrid role supports Intel Foundry Technology growth.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years in semiconductor manufacturing or technology development.
• 3+ years in CMP process development with hands-on tuning and characterization.
• Experience with CMP equipment platforms like AMAT or Ebara.
• Experience with CMP consumables and previous foundry exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMP process development from concept through HVM across advanced nodes.
• Drive cross-node standardization and best practices to maximize yield.
• Own resolution of complex CMP-related yield and manufacturing issues.
