Job summary

Intel is seeking a CMOS Device Technologist to join the MDCE Device team in a hybrid role across Hillsboro, PHX, or Santa Clara. You will develop and customize CMOS device technologies for high-volume manufacturing, supporting compute, mobile, memory controllers and other markets.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Technology Development and manufacturing teams, data analysis, DOE design, and delivering device performance improvements while aligning with Intel's manufacturing platforms.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, physics, or related field with 5+ years CMOS device engineering.
• CMOS device physics and fabrication of advanced transistor device architectures.
• Data analysis, scripting, and data analytic techniques to accelerate learning.
• Preferred: Ph.D. and 7+ years in CMOS device engineering and advanced node development.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Technology Development team to develop new device technologies and customize architectures to meet foundry needs.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to refine fabrication processes meeting device specs and yield targets.
• Develop CMOS logic device technologies for HPC, mobile, memory controllers and broad markets.
• Drive development and implementation of customized device technologies compatible with Intel processes.
• Utilize data analysis, scripting and DOE to accelerate learning and resolve yield challenges.
• Contribute to design of experiments and engineering data analysis to address performance issues.
