Job summary

Intel Corporation in Hillsboro, Oregon (and with presence in Arizona) is seeking a Staff CMP Engineer to lead CMP development for advanced logic nodes and enable robust high-volume manufacturing. You will own process development, drive standardization across nodes, and mentor engineers to deliver CMP solutions for Intel Foundry.

You will collaborate with Yield, Factory, and Customer Engineering teams, engaging suppliers and cross-functional partners to optimize process capability and ensure

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing / process development.
• 3+ years of direct CMP process development experience with hands-on tuning and characterization.
• Experience with major CMP equipment platforms (AMAT, Ebara, etc.).
• Experience with CMP consumables (slurries, pads, conditioning disks, filters, clean chemistries).
• Previous semiconductor foundry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMP process development from concept through high-volume manufacturing implementation.
• Drive standardization and best practices across Intel’s technology portfolio to maximize yield.
• Own and resolve complex CMP-related yield issues using data-driven methods.
• Align technical strategies with customer requirements and business objectives for on-time delivery.
• Bridge technology development and manufacturing teams for smooth CMP process transfer to production.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance process capability and yield.
