Job summary

Professional Placement Services, LLC is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer to join a precision CNC machining operation on site in Ohio. The role requires strong Hexagon CMM and PC-DMIS programming experience to inspect precision-machined components.

You will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections, ensuring measurement data is accurate and documented.

Qualifications

• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance CNC-machined components.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Experience with first-article and in-process inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and dimensional problem-solving skills.
• Precision machining, aerospace, or defense manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate Hexagon CMM equipment using PC-DMIS.
• Create and optimize inspection programs for precision-machined components.
• Perform first-article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Read blueprints and interpret GD&T requirements.
• Analyze measurement data and document inspection results.
• Maintain the calibration and accuracy of inspection equipment.
