Ohio Ordnance Works Inc. seeks a CMM Programmer II to join our quality-focused team on the 10-acre campus. You will independently develop, validate, and optimize inspection programs using Hexagon CMMs and PC-DMIS software, collaborating with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure product conformance.

You will mentor junior inspectors and contribute to audits, calibration, and improvements in measurement methods. The role follows Monday-Thursday, first shift (10-hour days).

Formación

• 5+ years programming and operating CMMs in manufacturing.
• 3+ years using PC-DMIS for program development.
• Strong GD&T knowledge per ASME Y14.5.
• Ability to analyze drawings, CAD models, specs and customer needs.
• Experience with precision measurement equipment and reporting.

Responsabilidades

• Program, validate, troubleshoot, and optimize inspection routines with PC-DMIS on Hexagon CMMs.
• Develop inspection strategies from drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Create and maintain CMM programs for new/existing products with repeatability.
• Analyze drawings to establish robust inspection methods.
• Generate inspection reports, CAPA data, and dimensional analyses.
• Support audits, calibration, and measurement system evaluations.
• Mentor junior programmers, inspectors, and technicians.
