Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of CMM programming experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with PC-DMIS programming and CMM operation.
• Advanced understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading.
• Experience with metrology, complex inspection techniques, and dimensional analysis.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and customer specifications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to train and mentor team members.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and validate CMM inspections, including part fixturing and orientation.
• Develop and optimize CMM inspection methodologies for prototype and production components.
• Create inspection programs based on drawings, CAD models, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve CMM programming issues and equipment malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration verification of CMM equipment.
• Train and support inspectors on proper CMM operation and best inspection practices.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure product conformity.
• Maintain inspection documentation and support quality system requirements.
• Stay current with advancements in metrology technology and industry standards.
