Job summary

Connexion Systems & Engineering is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer in Somerville, MA to join a rapidly growing aerospace manufacturer. You will develop and optimize CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS and work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the highest quality standards.

The role requires strong hands-on PC-DMIS experience, GD&T expertise, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
6+ years CMM programming experience preferred (3+ years for strong candidates).
Extensive PC-DMIS programming experience is required.
Strong understanding of GD&T and ability to read engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS.
Create inspection routines for machined components at multiple manufacturing stages.
Ensure inspections reflect GD&T requirements.
Collaborate daily with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production to resolve quality issues.
Maintain inspection documentation, reports and non-conformance records.
Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor junior CMM programmers and inspectors.
Drive quality, efficiency, and best practices throughout inspection processes.
