Job summary

Jobot seeks a CMM Programmer for aerospace metrology and dimensional inspection in Enfield, CT. You will program, prove out, and support CMM inspections on critical aerospace components, using Mitutoyo, Zeiss, and Metris machines. You’ll interpret drawings, ensure GD&T compliance, and own programs end-to-end.

Onsite first shift with hands-on work at CMM stations, you’ll drive QC through to NPIs and daily production milestones, while mentoring others on setups and documentation.

Qualifications

• CMM programming experience in a manufacturing environment; aerospace preferred.
• Prior MCOSMOS experience required; Calypso and/or Modus a strong plus.
• Strong GD&T interpretation, blueprint reading and aerospace tolerances.
• High school diploma or GED; ASQ certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program, prove out, and support CMM inspections on critical aerospace components.
• Generate and prove out CMM programs on Mitutoyo, Zeiss, and Metris machines.
• Set up and prove out new or modified programs using fixtures and work instructions.
• Interpret complex drawings and GD&T to ensure compliance with aerospace tolerances.
• Review CMM results, identify nonconformances, and support root cause analysis.
• Maintain and organize CMM programs and documentation; train others.
