Jobot seeks a CMM Programmer for aerospace metrology and dimensional inspection in Enfield, CT. You will program, prove out, and support CMM inspections on critical aerospace components, using Mitutoyo, Zeiss, and Metris machines. You’ll interpret drawings, ensure GD&T compliance, and own programs end-to-end.
Onsite first shift with hands-on work at CMM stations, you’ll drive QC through to NPIs and daily production milestones, while mentoring others on setups and documentation.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
We are a Tier 1 aerospace supplier producing critical, precision-machined components and assemblies for leading platforms across the industry. Much of the flight hardware we build holds tight aerospace tolerances and ships to programs where quality and dimensional accuracy are non-negotiable. Our quality organization runs a modern metrology floor — Mitutoyo, Zeiss, and Metris CMMs — supporting both new product introduction and daily production.
You'll program, prove out, and support coordinate measuring machine (CMM) inspections on critical aerospace components, executing to NPI and daily production milestones in accordance with customer and internal specifications.
Generate and prove out CMM programs on Mitutoyo, Zeiss, and Metris machines for dimensional inspection of aerospace parts.
Set up and prove out new or modified programs using provided fixtures, models, and work instructions.
Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T to ensure compliance with customer specifications and aerospace tolerances.
Review CMM results, identify potential nonconformances, elevate appropriately, and support root cause analysis on dimensional discrepancies.
Maintain and organize CMM programs and documentation; perform validation and calibration checks to ensure CMM accuracy; train other inspection personnel on setups you develop.
