Job summary

Jobot in the United States is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Machining engineer for 1st shift. The role focuses on CMM programming, quality evaluation, and ensuring product conformity through casting and machining processes.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in Manufacturing or Engineering, 4+ years in CMM programming, experience with PC-DMIS, Romer, and Zeiss equipment, and strong analytical and communication skills to support ISO audits and internal quality initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field.
4+ years experience in CMM programming.
Experience with Roamer and Zeiss equipment.
Ability to operate CMM and read CMM reports.
Experience with PC-DMIS software.
Strong analytical and mechanical skills; attention to detail.
Familiarity with Six Sigma.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across manufacturing levels.

Responsibilities

Prepare CMM programs per customer specs and evaluate quality throughout manufacturing prior to shipping.
Inspect and approve pieces in casting and machining with full layout for each production setup.
Inspect for casting defects, workmanship, cleanliness, and packaging before shipment.
Create certificates of conformance, material certificates, RoHs certificates, and other test reports.
Perform internal ISO audits and resolve any problems found.
Program, run, and maintain CMM.
