Job summary

APSI Construction Management is seeking a CM - Senior Architect/Engineer to support the Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh Healthcare System project, providing construction management from pre-design through construction for the EHRM infrastructure upgrades at VAPHS Pittsburgh, PA. The assignment is anticipated to start September/October 2026 and spans approximately two years.

The candidate must be a licensed professional with a Bachelor of Architecture and at least six years of experience in design

Qualifications

• Licensed professional with a Bachelor of Architecture.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in both design and construction, with a focus on medical facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management support from pre-design through construction.
• Assist the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer’s Representative in project management, planning, scheduling, design reviews, code compliance, testing, record keeping, quality control, cost control, and general oversight of design and construction projects.
• Monitor budgetary data and administration of construction contract change orders; maintain project schedules and attend progress meetings.
