Job summary
SIRIS, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Architect/Engineer to support an Electronic Health Record Management System upgrade project at the VA Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves providing technical expertise, design review, construction coordination, and project oversight for complex healthcare construction projects.
The Senior Architect/Engineer will serve as a technical representative to ensure projects are designed and executed in accordance with approved scopes, VA
Qualifications
- Six plus years as Architect, Engineer, or Construction Manager.
- Experience managing facility construction projects with design coordination, oversight, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Experience supporting healthcare, federal, or institutional construction preferred.
- Experience with VA/DoD/DoS federal programs preferred.
- Ability to identify risks and provide recommendations to Government stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural and engineering technical support for VA EHRM construction projects.
- Perform design reviews for submissions to verify completeness, constructability, and code compliance.
- Coordinate review comments from stakeholders and provide consolidated feedback.
- Review schedules and budgets, and assess design feasibility and impacts.
- Advise on constructability concerns and potential design conflicts.
- Prepare technical reports and program documentation.
