Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Configuration Analyst to join the CMDM team in Huntsville, AL. This onsite role focuses on CM processes, baselines, data integrity, and cross-functional support across engineering, operations, and supply chain.

You will contribute to audits, change coordination, and process improvements, while developing CM expertise and meeting program milestones in a government-security environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 2 years CM experience preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, 6 years CM experience preferred.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Execute Configuration Management processes and manage system baselines.
• Implement changes to engineering documents and enforce CM policies.
• Coordinate engineering changes with multiple teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Participate in configuration audits and resolve data discrepancies.
• Maintain product baselines and ensure data integrity across tools.
• Provide cross-functional CM support to engineering, operations, and supply chain.
• Identify opportunities to improve CM processes and tools.
• Develop CM knowledge through hands-on experience and training opportunities.
• Support program health metrics and ensure CM activities align with schedules.
