• Performs specimen processing and testing independently to include moderate and high complexity testing.
• Anticipates and evaluates need for new methods, instrumentation, and technology; informs management about findings.
• Ensures compliance with accrediting agencies; serves as a resource to internal and external customers.
• Manages assigned projects: plan, coordinate resources, timelines, progress updates, complete within deadlines.
• Maintains quality control: runs controls, evaluates data, documents data, and communicates QC info to Supervisor/Manager.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment; troubleshoots and takes corrective action.
