Qualifikationen

• High school diploma (or equivalent) with 4 years of clinical lab experience.
• Associate degree from an accredited MLT program or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree from a 4-year CLS program.

• Performs specimen processing and testing independently to include moderate and high complexity testing.
• Analyzes test results and correlates with disease states and test results.
• Performs preventive maintenance on equipment; troubleshoots and takes corrective action.
• Performs quality control including running controls and documenting data; communicates QC information to supervisor/lead.
• Meets timeliness for skill development and completes competency checklist.
• Provides technical information about test results to physicians, nurses and patients.

Ausbildung

High school diploma with 4 years of clinical lab experience
