Job summary

NikSoft Systems Corp seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support and monitor enterprise cloud-hosted systems and applications, bridging development and operations. You’ll oversee CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and platform health across Windows and Linux, while implementing DISA STIGs for secure production environments.

Responsibilities include automated deployments, documentation for automation workflows, vulnerability remediation, and asset upgrades in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Linux/Windows enterprise environments.
• Experience with cloud deployments and troubleshooting multi-language apps.
• Knowledge of system hardening and DISA STIGs.
• Ability to interpret vulnerability reports and address patches.
• Strong collaboration and communication with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance and capacity with enterprise tools; Splunk experience is preferred.
• Design and manage automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure as code.
• Maintain system documentation and create new automation workflow docs.
• Validate and implement critical patches and security updates via configuration management.
• Create and administer file servers and shares in hybrid environments.
• Assist with network troubleshooting on LAN/WAN.
• Plan and oversee system upgrades and replacements for program assets.
