Job summary

Intuit is seeking aSenior Systems Engineer for its Delivery team to build, operate, and scale Mailchimp’s sending platform. You will own health of the sending fleet from Linux hosts to deployment pipelines, autoscaling, and AWS environments.

The role is hands-on, requiring strong Linux expertise, AWS experience, and a bias toward reliability. You’ll work on automation, AI-enabled tooling, and collaborate with global teams to deliver high-throughput email infrastructure.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in systems, infrastructure, or platform engineering.
• Strong Linux administration and Unix CLI skills with production experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate AWS cloud infrastructure for the sending platform.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet).
• Manage system architecture across the sending path: networking, load balancing, security.
• Create CI/CD pipelines and release automation (Jenkins, Kubernetes/ArgoCD).
• Configure containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and tune MTA software.
• Participate in on-call rotations and monitor fleet health and deliverability.
