Job summary

Eon is seeking a Senior Support Engineer to join a global team delivering exceptional technical support for the Cloud Backup Posture Management platform. You will troubleshoot customer issues using logs, networking, and system administration, and contribute to documentation updates.

You may create custom solutions and scale support via coding and scripting. Join a collaborative startup culture with opportunities to automate and scale the support offering, while participating in on-call rotations

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on, technical experience in customer support, technical support, system administration, or related customer-facing role.
• 2+ years experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience reading or debugging code in Go, Python, or JavaScript.
• Proficiency with command-line tools and Linux OS environments.
• Familiar with REST APIs or GraphQL and basic web tech (HTTP, DNS).
• Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, Routing, VPNs, VLANs, Load Balancing).

Responsibilities

• Own, troubleshoot, and resolve customer technical issues using collaboration and best practices.
• Create, maintain, and coordinate incident management requests to product or engineering.
• Identify escalation cases and communicate with teams accordingly.
• Design and implement scalable support solutions through automation.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours, holidays, and weekend support.
