Job summary

ASM Research is seeking an experienced Customer Support Engineer to join our Microsoft operations team supporting government cloud environments. You will troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues, coordinate incident resolution, and help deploy platform software.

The role requires TS/SCI w/FSP clearance, 4+ years in technical support, and knowledge of Azure and automation with PowerShell or Python. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or technical discipline preferred.
• 4+ years in technical support or engineering roles in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft 365/Office 365 platform and services.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across the Microsoft 365 platform.
• Drive root-cause analysis for customer-reported incidents.
• Execute and oversee platform component deployments, including software upgrades and configuration changes.
• Deploy and validate services for multiple engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and automation and maintain knowledge base.
