Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a experienced Customer Support Engineer to join our Microsoft operations team supporting critical government cloud environments. This role blends advanced troubleshooting with deployment capability and serves as a key technical resource for customer-facing support and platform operations.

The ideal candidate has strong MS 365 expertise, incident resolution coordination, and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement across support

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field.
• 4+ years in technical support or engineering in enterprise environments.
• 3+ years hands-on Microsoft 365/Office 365 experience.
• Active TS/SCI w/FSP clearance required.
• Certifications AZ-900 / MS-900 or equivalent due within 6 months.
• Security certification (CompTIA Security+) within 6 months.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting (PowerShell, Python).
• Experience with monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support and incident management across the Microsoft 365 platform.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues for enterprise environments.
• Lead root-cause analyses for customer-reported incidents.
• Oversee deployment and platform operations including upgrades and config changes.
• Validate services for multiple engineering teams and maintain documentation.
• Create and maintain knowledge base and runbook materials.
• Communicate status updates and drive incident resolution to meet SLAs.
