Job summary

SitusAMC is hiring a seasoned DevOps Engineer to manage AWS-hosted SaaS products. You will drive cloud architecture, CI/CD, and automation, aligning with development teams and security requirements.

Responsibilities include optimizing observability, scaling, and migrating on‑prem apps to the cloud. Strong scripting and Terraform IaC skills are essential; remote-friendly hours and a comprehensive benefits package accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of industry experience; 1+ years in an Associate level role or external equivalent.
• 70% Ops / 30% Development in DevOps focus.
• Strong experience with containerization, Kubernetes, EKS, and CI/CD pipelines (GitOps: ArgoCD/FluxCD).
• Experience with Git (Azure DevOps preferred).
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch) and troubleshooting.
• Terraform and IaC best practices essential.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• AWS services management (Beanstalk, EC2, AMIs, Load Balancers).
• SQL administration and database hygiene in RDS.
• Service mesh experience a plus (Linkerd/Istio).
• Kubernetes and Docker container orchestration required.
• Strong network management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Azure DevOps for tickets, pipelines, release & IaC.
• Flexible work hours.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Development, Business, and Platform teams for AWS-hosted products.
• Work in Agile Scrum/Kanban environments.
• Implement cloud best practices and Well-Architected Framework.
• Design scalable, reliable cloud solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Improve end-to-end observability of cloud applications.
• Migrate on-prem apps to AWS Cloud and support SaaS offerings.
• Lead strategic initiatives for seamless product integration and performance.
