Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design and implement scalable AWS environments using Terraform and modern IaC practices. You will drive CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions) and automate deployments across serverless and containerized workloads while ensuring security, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

The role requires strong Python or shell scripting, deep Kubernetes expertise, and hands-on AWS services (EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent
• 6+ years of industry experience; 1+ year at Senior Associate level
• 8+ years IaC experience with Terraform or similar
• 6+ years CI/CD with FluxCD/ArgoCD and Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions
• Kubernetes, Istio/Linkerd service mesh, auto-scaling (Karpenter)
• Programming for automation (Python, Shell)
• AWS services including EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, secure AWS environments using Terraform and IaC
• Shape strategic direction for enterprise cloud architectures
• Drive release automation with modern CI/CD pipelines
• Automate patching, upgrades, and IaC lifecycle maintenance
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams
• Champion automation and drive cloud strategy innovation
• Perform other duties as assigned by management
