Job summary

SitusAMC is seeking a seasoned Cloud/DevOps Engineer in the United States to build scalable AWS environments, implement Terraform-based IaC, and drive secure, automated infrastructure. The role emphasizes security, resilience, and cost-effective operations.

You will shape cloud strategy, manage service meshes and GitOps tooling, and work across teams to deliver enterprise-class solutions with performance and compliance in mind.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 6+ years of industry experience, typically 1+ years in a Senior Associate level role.
• 8+ years developing Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar).
• 6+ years building pipelines with GitOps (FluxCD, ArgoCD) and automation tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
• Hands‑on with Kubernetes, service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), and auto‑scaling solutions like Karpenter.
• Strong scripting/programming background (Python, Shell, or equivalent).
• Expertise with AWS services including EKS, EC2, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, VPC, IAM, and security/firewall rules.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, efficient AWS environments using Terraform and IaC best practices.
• Develop enterprise AWS solutions with a security-first mindset for resilience and performance.
• Drive release automation through CI/CD pipelines (GitOps, ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Automate patching, upgrades, and upkeep of IaC and pipelines.
• Collaborate with external customers and internal teams to align infrastructure with needs.
• Drive automation of AWS infrastructure to minimize manual intervention and errors.
• Contribute ideas to evolve cloud strategy and innovation.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
