Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen platform reliability at scale. You will own infrastructure, observability, and cross-cutting reliability initiatives across 170+ applications while supporting health professionals and patients in a European context.

You will drive SLOs, incident response, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to enable fast, safe delivery across a cloud-native stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Site Reliability Engineering in a large-scale multi-team environment.
• Experience with AWS, GCP or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong Kubernetes deployment and scaling experience.
• Collaborates closely with software engineering teams to design reliable systems.
• IaC experience with Terraform in production contexts.
• Implemented SLIs/SLOs and error budgets in production.
• Experience managing on-call rotations and incident response leadership.
• GitOps workflows experience (ArgoCD, Helm).
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, Go, Ruby).
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain infrastructure automation and IaC at scale for 170+ applications.
• Lead large-scale cross-cutting reliability initiatives and postmortems.
• Design and improve infrastructure components for reliability, scalability, and observability.
• Define and drive SLOs, error budgets, and alerting standards across teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation and improve on-call experience via actionable telemetry.
• Partner with software teams to embed reliability practices early in development lifecycle.
