Job summary

Okta’s Technology, Data and Intelligence team seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable cloud platform services. You will drive automation, testing, and operational excellence across distributed environments.

Reporting to the Manager, SRE, you will collaborate with engineering teams, craft runbooks, and contribute to architecture sessions while maintaining strong security controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience in building scalable cloud environments with security at the core.
• Strong automation and infrastructure as code background.
• Proven ability to operate in regulated, high-stakes settings.

Responsibilities

• Secure Cloud Infrastructure & Pipelines: design and modernize scalable cloud environments with enforced security.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Advocacy: partner with software engineers to promote DevOps and SRE best practices.
• Technical Documentation & Operations: create runbooks, diagrams, and disaster recovery procedures.
