Job summary

Delinea is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the availability and performance of production SaaS services in Azure and AWS, including a FedRAMP High environment. You will focus on measuring reliability, reducing incident noise, and automating response to scale operations.

In this role, you will define SLIs/SLOs, build robust monitoring, and lead on-call incident management across support, engineering, and product teams. Government cloud experience is welcome but not required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or production engineering for a SaaS product.
• Hands-on Azure experience across AKS, App Service, Azure SQL, Redis, Service Bus, Front Door, and Storage.
• Production experience with observability platforms like Datadog (metrics, logs, APM, dashboards).
• Ownership of SLIs/SLOs and error budgets for services you supported.
• Incident response experience with postmortems and root cause analyses.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability for production SaaS services end to end: availability, performance, capacity.
• Define SLI/SLOs and error budgets; prioritize reliability work with teams.
• Build and tune monitoring in Datadog and Azure Monitor; create dashboards and alerts.
• Automate response with runbooks, code, and remediation workflows.
• Lead on-call rotation and coordinate incident resolution across teams.
• Write post-incident reviews and drive preventive actions to completion.
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Administer web application firewall tuning, rate limiting, and security coordination.
• Manage observability spend: indexing, retention, and archiving signals.
