Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - AWS/SRE to drive production excellence within the Deposits team of the Consumer & Community Banking division in Columbus, OH. Deep AWS expertise across compute, data, networking, security, and observability.
Systems thinking with focus on cost, scalability, automation, and reliability.
Proven incident response leadership and post-mortem discipline.

Responsibilities

Lead Live Site Management and cloud production practices, including production readiness, change governance, incident response, problem management, and operational risk reduction.
Define and improve SRE practices, including SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, capacity planning, and reliability engineering.
Advance observability across applications and infrastructure with logging, metrics, distributed tracing, dashboards, and alerting.
Drive major incident response, root-cause analysis, and durable remediation across engineering teams.
Shape the end-to-end AWS cloud architecture strategy and strengthen cloud cost optimization across the product.
