Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer III - DevOps to build scalable cloud infrastructure and automate deployment at scale. You will design, implement, and operate containerized apps on AWS with Kubernetes, using Terraform for IaC and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or related field.
• Strong AWS services expertise (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM and networking).
• Hands-on Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS experience for container orchestration.
• Terraform for infrastructure as code and CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, CodePipeline, Spinnaker).
• Observability and monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/CloudWatch/Splunk.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, or scripting languages (Bash, Python, Node.js).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS or CF or Azure.
• Deploy, manage, and scale containerized apps with Kubernetes (EKS) and ECS.
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform for provisioning and config mgmt.
• Adopt SRE best practices within the team and drive reliability.
• Implement logging, tracing, and monitoring with ELK, Splunk, Dynatrace, and CloudWatch.
• Ensure disaster recovery with multi-region deployments, backups, and failover.
• Integrate security tools (Snyk, Trivy, SonarQube, Aqua) into CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams for smooth deployment and operation.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support 24/7 critical systems.
