Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to automate cloud-based services infrastructure with a focus on DevOps automation. The role includes architecture, development, service provisioning, maintenance, and monitoring of infrastructure and tooling.

Occasional after-hours work may be required to address urgent issues and maintain uptime. Responsibilities include CI/CD optimization, Azure deployments, troubleshooting, and on-call participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in CS/Software Eng or equivalent training.
• 8+ years of experience with cloud services deployment and maintenance (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Scripting/automation skills: PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, JavaScript or similar.
• Programming experience in C#, Python, Go, Ruby, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve CI/CD infrastructure and tooling (Azure DevOps, scripting).
• Automate Azure cloud deployments and resource provisioning.
• Troubleshoot issues in development, deployment, and operations.
• Analyze availability and performance, lead proactive resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and policies.
• Maintain monitoring, alerts, and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with engineers across the organization to triage production issues.
