Job summary

ICU Medical is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, CloudOps to support a multi-account AWS environment hosting healthcare applications and analytics platforms. You will bridge infrastructure engineering, production support, and cloud modernization across microservices, emphasizing HIPAA/HiTrust compliance and incident response.

You will work with Jenkins/CodePipeline CI/CD, Datadog/CloudWatch/Zabbix monitoring, and containerized apps, with future Kubernetes (EKS) modernization

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
• Practical background supporting production workloads in Linux/AWS environments, reading logs, and making minor fixes.
• Direct experience in on-call rotations and incident response protocols.
• Prior experience in healthcare maintaining HIPAA/HiTrust-compliant infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage 35+ account AWS Organization and core services (EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, API Gateway, Aurora/RDS).
• Support production deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation using Python/Bash and CloudFormation.
• Monitor health with Datadog, CloudWatch, and Zabbix; root-cause analysis and improved monitoring to reduce noise.
• Participate in on-call rotation, incident response, failover, and recovery validation.
• Maintain HIPAA/HiTrust compliance and security posture with IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, and network segmentation.
• Support Java/Spring Boot and Python apps in containers; prepare for Kubernetes (EKS) modernization.
