Job summary

ProFocus Technology is seeking a Senior Platform / Site Reliability Engineer to join our client in Salt Lake City. In this hybrid role, you will own the cloud infrastructure powering a modern healthcare platform, designing secure, scalable AWS environments and automating infrastructure with IaC.

You will build reliable deployment pipelines, implement observability with Grafana, Datadog and Sentry, and lead incident response while ensuring SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Proven production experience managing AWS infrastructure at scale.
• Experience with Terraform, ECS, and EKS/Kubernetes.
• Strong AWS networking, IAM, and cloud security practices.
• Experience with SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance.
• Observability experience with Grafana, Datadog, and Sentry.
• CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.
• SRE principles, automation, and incident response.
• Excellent communication; Bachelor's degree; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Own cloud infrastructure powering the platform.
• Design, build, and manage AWS infrastructure with IaC.
• Develop scalable environments with Terraform, ECS, and Kubernetes.
• Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, and secrets management.
• Build infrastructure to meet SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance.
• Develop observability with Grafana, Datadog, Sentry.
• Own CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for secure delivery.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis.
• Leverage AI tools to boost productivity with sound judgment.
