Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to partner with Telco customers, AWS Sales, and internal teams to craft scalable cloud architectures that address business challenges and accelerate cloud adoption.

In this role you will drive revenue growth with a small set of North America Telco customers, advocate for customers, and help migrate workloads to AWS while shaping strategy and sharing best practices.

Qualifications

• 2+ years design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 4+ years in technology domains (cloud, software, systems, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 4+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.
• Experience migrating legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective.

Responsibilities

• Build and migrate applications, software and services on the AWS platform.
• In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through the adoption of AWS.
• Own the overall technical relationship between customers and AWS and advise on security, cost, performance, reliability.
• Educate customers on the AWS value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions for cloud deployments.
• Conduct training sessions to transfer knowledge to customers considering or using AWS.
• Capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solutions architect community.
• Author or contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as blogs and whitepapers.
• Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable cloud advocacy.
• Act as a technical liaison between customers, service engineering teams and support.
