Job summary

Amazon is seeking a seasoned AWS Solutions Architect to design and build scalable, flexible cloud architectures for enterprise customers. You will partner with AWS Sales and other teams to drive adoption and craft innovative cloud migration strategies.

You will mentor customers on best practices, author technical publications, and help shape go-to-market strategies to exceed revenue objectives while traveling up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

8+ years in target technology domains (e.g. cloud, software, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
5+ years design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
10+ years IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries.

Responsibilities

Participate in deep architectural and design discussions to create world-class solutions built on AWS.
Author and contribute to AWS customer-facing publications such as whitepapers and proofs of concept.
In partnership with the sales team, formulate and execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives through AWS adoption.
Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within customers to enable cloud advocacy.
Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community.
Travel is expected to be 20%.
